Today we lay to rest Lt. William L. Walker – a brother in service, a friend to many.

Today, the Cleveland Department of Public Safety will join family, friends and community in mourning the loss of Cleveland Fire Lieutenant William L. Walker at a civil service to begin at 2pm in Cleveland’s Public Auditiorium. Lt. Walker was a devoted member of the Cleveland Division of Fire for 15 years. He was our brother in service and a friend to many in the community. 

Lt. Walker was shot outside his home on Lampson Avenue on November 3rd.  He died as a result of his injuries and will be missed by family, friends and colleagues.

The Cleveland Division of Police continues to investigate and requests anyone with information call the Homicide Unit at 216-623-5464.
